Kratom is a tree native to southeast Asia. The leaves of the plant have been used for centuries to treat a variety of conditions. The media and law enforcement agencies often portray kratom in a negative light. The aim of this blog is address some of that negative attention, and to provide additional information that readers can use to form an educated opinion.

I Ran Out! OMG!
I ran out of kratom last week and was unable to drink my usual concoction of kratom and chamomile for a couple of days. I'd like to say that this is going to be an interesting -- dramatic, even -- post about what happens when one has no access to kratom temporarily. The first day was mildly annoying. My stomach felt a little off, and I had some restless leg issues at bedtime. The second day, however, I felt like my normal self. In fact, I felt so much like my normal self that the thought crossed my mind that perhaps kratom is an ingredient that I can do without!

Strains!
I'm really bad about keeping my strains straight. In fact, I can't. Unless it's Bali, I really can't tell you how the strain affects me. Here they are:
Here they are:
- Kratom Strains Guide: What are the Differences in Popular Strains?: A summary of effects for a good variety of kratom strains.
- Strains, Effects, and Dosage: A chart with brief descriptions of some of the most popular strains, along with common doses.
- Kratom Powder: Bikhuk's summary of strains, doses, and effects.
If you have a good reference to share, pass it along, and I'll add it to this list.
Happy Tuesday!
